Former supermodel-turned-reality TV star Janice Dickinson is being sued by celebrity jeweler Neil Lane after allegedly borrowing gems for a photo shoot and never returning them. Lane says that Dickinson has failed to return the loaned jewelry,and she is claiming the items were either lost or stolen, a story the jeweler's insurance agents found "dubious." In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles, Lane claims Dickinson was loaned diamond earrings and a turquoise, pearl and gold necklace, among other things, valued in total at $88,000. Jennifer Lopez Wins Suit

Jennifer Lopez has been awarded nearly $545,000 in a lawsuit against her first husband, Ojani Noa, over his plans to publish a tell-all book claiming she had several affairs. A court-ordered arbitrator made the decision in Lopez's breach-of-contract lawsuit against Noa, court papers indicated. The award includes $200,000 in damages, with the rest going for arbitration costs and attorneys' fees. Lopez's lawsuit claimed that Noa had violated a previous lawsuit settlement preventing him from revealing private information about their relationship. The arbitrator also decided that a permanent injunction should be awarded against Noa that would bar him from "criticizing, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging or causing disparagement" to Lopez. Noa will be be directed to give Lopez or her attorney all copies of materials related to the book. The arbitration decision was disclosed when Lopez's attorney filed papers asking a Superior Court judge to confirm the award. Noa and Lopez, married in February 1997 and were divorced eleven months later. His unpublished, ghostwritten book alleges that during that time Lopez had multiple affairs, including one with her 3rd and current husband, Marc Anthony, court documents indicated. Her lawsuit claimed Noa offered not to publish the book in return for $5 million. In 2004, Noa sued Lopez for breach of contract, claiming she lured him into taking a $1,000-a-week managerial job at her Pasadena restaurant and then fired him Five months later. Noa settled the case for $125,000 and agreed not to disclose private information about their relationship or to disparage Lopez, according to court papers. Britney Spears Visitation

Britney Spears has regained temporary visitation rights with her sons, her attorney said. "Yes, she has visitation with the children," her lawyer, Anne Kiley, said. Spears was spotted driving with the boys in the San Fernando Valley. A court-appointed monitor was in the passenger seat of the white Mercedes convertible, and her sons were in the back seat. Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon had told Spears that she could not visit her two young children without a parenting coach present until she complies with a court order. Among other things, Gordon ordered her to undergo random weekly drug testing, citing evidence that Spears engaged in "habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol." Paris's Trip to Rwanda Postponed

Paris Hilton's humanitarian tour of Rwanda has been postponed by the foundation that organized the trip. "Due to the restructuring of the Playing for Good Foundation, the philanthropic trip to Rwanda that the foundation had previously planned with Paris Hilton has been postponed," the organization said in a statement. Playing for Good Foundation is a children's charity. On Hilton's itinerary were visits to schools and health-care clinics "Paris has been a loyal and gracious supporter of Playing for Good, but the foundation has to regrettably reschedule this trip," the organization said. "Playing for Good would like to thank Ms. Hilton for her generosity and her continued support of this initiative and is looking forward to rescheduling the trip with her at a later time." Hilton announced last month she was planning a trip to Rwanda, the scene of genocide in 1994, because she hoped she could raise awareness about what people can do to help those in need. Hilton says she'll visit Rwanda next year. "I know (Rwanda) went through a lot of traumatic experiences, and I feel like if I go there, I can help save some people's lives," Hilton says. Spears Booked

Britney Spears, accompanied by pal Sam Lufti and her lawyer, J. Michael Flanagan, reported to a Los Angeles police station to face misdemeanor charges of hit and run and driving without a valid license, police said. Officer Mike Lopez said Spears turned herself in around 9 p.m. and left about 45 minutes later. "Spears was fingerprinted and photographed," he said. "She was fine, cooperative," Lopez said. "She did her business and came out." As she left the station, she said that all went smoothly. "They were nice," she said of the police. The charges stem from an Aug. 6 wreck during which paparazzi filmed Spears steering her car into another vehicle as she tried to turn into a spot in a Studio City parking lot. The video showed her walking away after assessing the damage to her own car. The owner of the other car, Kim Robard-Rifkin, filed a police report three days later. Campbell Settles Suit

Naomi Campbell has settled one of several civil suits filed by one of her former personal assistants. Campbell decided she'd rather pay a settlement rather than undergo another damaging court battle over her fighting ways. She has settled a civil suit filed by a former personal assistant who claimed Campbell smacked her bloody with a jewel-encrusted BlackBerry in 2005, court papers revealed. Amanda Brack also claimed Campbell spat on her and even threw her passport into a hotel pool during a heated argument while on a trip to Morocco. Terms were not revealed, and neither Campbell nor Brack had anything to say about the settlement, which a Manhattan Supreme Court judge approved. The 'Sex and the City' movie began shooting. Sara Evans Granted Divorce

After a year of nasty allegations, country singer Sara Evans was granted a divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences. Judge R.E. Lee Davies announced the agreement at a hearing. The two sides agreed on a joint custody plan for their three children and a split of marital assets. Evans also agreed to pay ex-husband Craig Schelske alimony of at least $500,000 over 10 years. "Both parties are fully committed to raising their children in a cooperative and positive way. Both parties are loving and caring parents," said a brief statement filed with the court by the lawyers for both sides. "They request that everyone respect the family's privacy." Evans filed for divorce last October after 13 years of marriage, alleging that Schelske committed adultery, was verbally and emotionally abusive, drank excessively and frequently watched pornography in their home. Britney Spears Loses Custody

Britney Spears was ordered to surrender custody of her children to ex-husband Kevin Federline. Superior Court Judge Scott M. Gordon ruled that Federline will take custody of his sons beginning Wednesday "until further order of the court." Earlier this month, Gordon said Spears engaged in "habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol" and ordered her to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week as part of her ongoing custody dispute with Federline. Spears also was previously ordered to meet weekly with a "parenting coach" who was to observe and report back to the court about her parenting skills. Both Spears and Federline must complete the court's "Parenting Without Conflict" class. Spears and Federline were married in October 2004. Britney Spears Charged

Britney Spears legal woes mounted as prosecutors charged her with misdemeanor counts of hit and run and driving without a valid license after she allegedly smashed her car into another in a parking lot in August. "She could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for each count," said Nick Velasquez, spokesman for the city attorney's office. "The accident occurred Aug. 6," Velasquez said. Spears was filmed by paparazzi that day crashing her car into another vehicle as she tried to turn into a spot in a Studio City parking lot. After assessing the damage to her own car only, she was shown on the paparazzi video walking away. "Three days after the accident, the owner of the other vehicle, Kim Robard-Rifkin, filed a police report, and investigators later determined that Spears does not have a valid license," officials said. Robard-Rifkin learned it was Spears who had hit her car through a video that was posted on a celebrity web site. She said she was "sort of amused and sort of shocked" when she learned Spears was the source of the damage, adding that she had expected to hear from Spears or one of her representatives. Vanessa Hudgens' representative has confirmed that a nude photo circulating on the Internet is indeed the star of the extremely popular 'High School Musical' movies. "This was a photo which was taken privately," said Jill Fritzo, Hudgens' publicist. "It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public." The National Enquirer was the first to report of the photo's existence, and it has since surfaced on various web sites. The photo shows Hudgens standing naked in what appears to be a bedroom, with a red curtain behind her. Sources have also denied a published report that Hudgens will be dropped from the upcoming feature film 'High School Musical 3.' Gainsbourg Has Surgery

Actress Charlotte Gainsbourg is "doing fine" and recovering from a brain hemorrhage in a Paris hospital, says her husband, Yvan Attal. She was taken to the Clinique Monceau in Paris, France late on Wednesday and was operated on by brain specialist Stephanie Delajoux. Late Wednesday, she was still in a coma, but out of danger. Delajoux says, "The operation went well and she is not at risk anymore." Gainsbourg had been suffering from headaches for several weeks following a waterskiing accident in the US last month. Thursday afternoon, Attal said his wife was improving. He said, "She is doing fine. I spoke to her, she replied and I kissed her. She is fine. It's not as bad as the media says it is. Paris Hilton Sells Home

Paris Hilton sold her 1926 Spanish-style Hollywood Hills home for $4.25 million. Hilton is buying a larger home in a gated community or, one with a long gated driveway, according to her aunt and informal spokeswoman, Kyle Richards. Hilton bought the four-bedroom residence in 2004 for about $2.9 million, during the second season of her reality show, 'The Simple Life.' She redecorated the interior in black and white and transformed one bedroom into a walk-in closet and another into a security control room. During Hilton's recent legal woes, her home was the center of a media invasion that was upsetting her neighbors. The throng of reporters and paparazzi staked out the home above Sunset Boulevard, capturing her move from jail to home and back again. The onslaught caused some residents to circulate a letter advising neighbors to call police about the noise and traffic. Richards, says their discomfort was not a factor in Paris' decision to sell. Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been caught taking drugs in rehab. She was allegedly forced to undergo a drug test by the staff at Utah's Cirque Lodge facility, and the results came back positive. Lohan has now been warned if she does not stay clean she will be thrown out of the center. A source claims, "Lindsay got called into the director's office and was questioned about drugs. When ordered to take a drug test, she reluctantly complied but screamed and cursed at the medical director before storming out the room. She was told that if she couldn't conform to the program she'd have to leave." According to reports, this is not Lohan's first indiscretion since entering Cirque Lodge earlier this month. She was reportedly caught having sex in a toilet stall with a male patient, who is also at Cirque for drug rehab. She is reportedly frequently late to meetings and refuses to do any chores or menial tasks such as toilet cleaning duties. Lohan entered the rehab center following her arrest after a high-speed car chase in Santa Monica. She was in possession of cocaine when she was taken into custody. Last week, Lindsay pleaded guilty to two charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance (cocaine) and pleaded no contest to two charges of DUI (driving under the influence of alcohol). She also pleaded no contest to one charge of reckless driving. After entering her plea bargain, she was sentenced to one day in jail and 36 months probation for her offences and ordered to undergo an 18-month alcohol rehabilitation program. Paris Hilton has reached a settlement in a $10 million defamation lawsuit between her and diamond heiress-actress Zeta Graff. In the suit, Graff claimed that Hilton spread "vicious lies" about her to the media in 2005. Both sides reached an "amicable resolution," but the details were kept confidential, according to a statement released by Graff's attorney, Bruce Broillet. "Both parties are glad that the matter could be resolved without the time and expense of a trial," Broillet said in the statement. In the suit, Graff claimed that Hilton spread the lies about her to the New York Post. The Post reported that Graff, who once dated Hilton's then-fiancee, Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis, went "berserk" at a nightclub, tried to strangle Hilton and attempted to steal her diamond necklace. Graff denied the report and claimed that Hilton said, "I'm going to destroy you" after trying to oust her from the club, according to the suit. Hilton denied that she was behind the report. Hilton's former publicist, Rob Shuter, said in a deposition that Hilton asked him to help plant the story and that he gave the paper comments, dictated by Hilton, that he attributed to himself, Hilton and anonymous sources. Vivica A. Fox has been barred from drinking alcohol, just one sip could bring her back in front of the judge. In Los Angeles County Superior Court, a judge ordered Fox to stay sober until her September arraignment, but didn't bar her from associating with those who are drinking. "She can be around alcohol because of the nature of her work" the judge said, adding "but she cannot consume or possess it. I am not permitting her to consume alcohol." If Fox does drink, she could be forced to hand over thousands in bail money, due to the fact that she was originally released on her own recognizance. Fox was arrestedfor DUI in March, after she raced past the police at a high rate of speed on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles. She reportedly registered .09 on a Breathalyzer test, just over the .08 legal limit. If convicted, Fox faces a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. See more

Lindsay's Wild Ride

The men who say they were unwilling passengers on Lindsay Lohan’s wild ride through Santa Monica have retained a lawyer who said he hopes to resolve the case without hauling her into court. Attorney Randall Billington said that he has been retained by Dante Nigro and Jakon Sutter, who say they pleaded with Lohan to stop as she raced along the Pacific Coast Highway at 100 mph. He is also representing Ronnie Blake, who says Lohan drove Nigro's SUV over his foot as she raced off. "Some people think a discussion should begin with 'I'll see you in court.' I don't believe that," said Billington, adding he hoped the situation could be resolved amicably. He also expressed concern for the well-being of Lohan, who was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence and cocaine possession at the end of the ride. "From my clients' point of view, they want to see a good outcome to that story for her," he said. Shortly before the chase began, Nigro said, Lohan's personal assistant got into an argument with her boyfriend and then Lohan. At that point, Nigro said, Lohan snatched his keys, which were still in the ignition of his SUV, jumped into the driver's seat and gave chase. As the car accelerated, Blake said, he managed to jump out, but the vehicle ran over his foot. As Lohan raced after her assistant, Nigro and Sutter said, the car reached speeds of 100 mph. "So we start pleading with her, 'Can you please stop the car,'" Sutter said. "I was honestly terrified," Nigro added. "I really thought we were going to crash and I really thought we were going to get severely hurt or all of us were going to die." After Lohan's assistant got away, Nigro said, Lohan raced to the Santa Monica home of the former assistant's mother. The mother, seeing a strange car arrive as she was returning home, fled in a Cadillac Escalade and called police. "At this point the Escalade's flying, we're flying, we're probably going 80 miles per hour in residential Santa Monica," Nigro said. The chase ended when the Woman stopped near the Santa Monica police station and Lohan was arrested. As she spoke with police, Nigro said, Lohan tried to implicate Sutter. Federline Divorce Final

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline will officially divorce today. Spears' lawyer, Laura Wasser, and Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, went to court with the final papers to get a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge to sign-off on the settlement, making the divorce final. Wasser will make a motion to keep the custody and spousal support orders secret. Federline is reportedly receiving $15,000 a month from Spears for child support. He's also reportedly getting $20,000 a month in spousal support, but that's based on the prenup, and it appears the alimony payments will come to an end in November. As for custody arrangement for the couple's two sons, it will stay at 50/50. Neither Spears nor Federline are happy with the custody arrangement, and either of them can go back to court and ask for a change. Federline won't even speak to Spears, so they will probably be back in court asking the judge to make decisions about child rearing. There are reports that Federline may go to court soon to get full custody. Sources say he has signed-off on the 50/50 custody split. Posing naked for a publicity photo for her Showtime comedy series 'Weeds' was no big deal for Mary-Louise Parker. It was the snake that bothered her. "I didn't think I was going to do it actually," Parker said. "But then, they were there and the snake was there, and I didn't want the snake to win, so I put the snake on." "And actually, I grew to really love the snake by the end of the day." Parker is shown with the snake over her shoulder and down her back in the ad. Brandy Likes To Party

The widower of the Woman who died in a car accident involving R&B singer Brandy Norwood is furious that Brandy is out partying it up while he's still mourning his wife's death. The attorney for accident victim Awatef Aboudihaj's husband, Marquane Hdidou, said his client is extremely angry that he sees pictures of Brandy out clubbing so soon after the crash, which took place last December. In the upcoming court case, the judge allowed the four parties suing Brandy in civil court to combine their cases: Hdidou, his wife's two children from a previous marriage, her parents, and Mallory Ham, the man who survived the accident. Britney Spears apparently suffered another breakdown on the set of her new music video, with production grinding to a halt after she began "sobbing hysterically" during a pole dance routine. Spears was shooting the video for her new single 'Give Me More' in Los Angeles, but had been holding up filming with her unwillingness to co-operate with the crew while taking hour-long breaks in between production. Onlookers claim Spears appeared "disorientated" throughout the shoot, before becoming paranoid when she performed her sexy dance routine. A source claims, "Britney was completely uncooperative and left everyone hanging around when she went for an hour's massage, twice." "She was rude and she chain-smoked and drank an enormous amount of Red Bull throughout the shoot." "She had a problem with the extras watching her pole dance and suddenly she was in floods of tears. Mel B Secretly Married

Spice Girl Melanie 'Mel B' Brown was secretly married to boyfriend Stephen Belafonte in June. Mel B and Belafonte and were married in a Las Vegas ceremony on June 6. A clerk at the Clark County Marriage Bureau confirms there is a marriage certificate. Mel B's representative says, "the couple are 'very happy' and 'very much in love.' They have had a deep friendship for a number of years," adding, "that has developed into a loving relationship." As to the reason for secrecy, Mel's rep says there was none. "They just value their privacy." It is the bride's second marriage. Brown previously was married to Jimmy Gulzar, a former backup dancer for the Spice Girls. Gulzar is the father of Brown's oldest daughter. 'Judd Shocked'

Country star Wynonna Judd was left in a state of shock when she found out her husband D.R. Roach was arrested for aggravated sexual battery against a minor earlier this year. Judd filed for divorce from Roach just days after he was arrested and charged with three counts of battery against a 13-year-old in March. Judd couldn't believe her husband of four years was involved in such activity. She describes her reaction as one of "disbelief and shock," adding, "These are things that you read about and see on the news about people, and you think to yourself, 'Never in my family.'" Judd still has contact with her husband, and is finding it tough to stop wearing her wedding ring. She says, "It is hard to just detach overnight. I'm healing in my own time. And so I do wear my ring. We see each other and communicate through our lawyers and mediator. There are still personal and professional details to make decisions about." Moynahan Has Son

Bridget Moynahan and ex-boyfriend, New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady are new parents. Moynahan and Brady split up late last year after a three-year relationship. Moynahan gave birth to the baby in Los Angeles, Moynahan's publicist Christina Papadapoulos said in a statement. "Both mother and baby are doing well," she said. Brady's whereabouts weren't known. He wasn't on the field or sidelines for the first 15 minutes of practice and Patriots spokesman Stacey James said he didn't know when Brady would rejoin the team. Brady had said earlier this week that he would like a few days off for the birth of his first child, calling the event "a very joyous, happy situation." Nicole Richie Serves 82 Minutes

Nicole Richie quietly went to jail to serve her sentence for DUI while the spotlight was on Lindsay Lohan. Richie checked herself into Lynwood jail, where Paris did her time, and she left a free Woman after 82 minutes. According to the official website of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Dept., Richie checked in at 3:15 PM and was released at 4:37 PM. She was assigned to a cell for only 35 minutes. Richie was sentenced to four days in jail for driving the wrong way on a Los Angeles freeway while under the influence. She was given credit for 1 day because she was in jail for 6 hours after her arrest. A Sheriff's source says Richie was routinely processed and released according to normal operating rules. Overcrowding was a major factor in her early release. The Sheriff's Department released a statement regarding the 82-minute incarceration of Nicole Richie: "On August 23 2007, at 3:15 PM Miss Nicole Camille Richie reported to CRDF and surrendered herself following a July 27 arrest, she was sentenced to serve 96 hours in County Jail. Miss Richie was accompanied by her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley and her boyfriend Joel Madden. Miss Richie was booked and processed into the jail system.
